Principal's Message

 

Dr. Gastrid Harrigan

Hello Parents, Students, and Community Members, It is with great pleasure, enthusiasm, and excitement that I join the Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy Family! I am humble by the opportunity to serve as principal of this remarkable school community. In honor of Millennium 6-12 rich educational heritage, we will continue to uphold the strong tradition of academic excellence you have come to expect over the years. Before coming to education, I was a computer engineer. I started my educational career as a secondary mathematics teacher at the high school level. For the past 15 years, I have worked at both the elementary and secondary levels as an Assistant Principal and Principal. As the lead learner, I do not lose sight of the importance of collaborating with teachers and staff to positively impact and improve the lives of our students. As we embark on the 2025-26 school year, I encourage you to partner with your child’s teacher to establish and maintain open lines of communication. Attend family nights, SAC meetings, join PTSO, and consider volunteering your time and talent to promote the development and overall positive educational experience we strive to provide daily. My door is always open; therefore, I encourage you to stop by and say hello. Working together to soar to new heights through collaboration and teamwork both at home and in school is essential for your child’s success.
